It's beginning to look alot like Christmas.....

.....whether I'm ready or not! We've had a good month leading up to this crazy time of year! Nutcracker Ball, costume fittings, rehearsals, THANKSGIVING, decorating, Freeze Modeling at the mall in Amarillo...... I guess this is God's way of slowly preparing my body, soul and mind for NUTCRACKER!!!! It is really NUTS, alright! Long nights of practice, sorry attitudes (some from my girls, some from me), bad hair days because they are sleeping in till the last moment......but, all to lead up to this beautiful gift we are giving the community.....called "The Nutcracker"! Having Emma, Hanna AND Lily in it this year has made it interesting, to say the least. I didn't think it could get any crazier.....HELLOOOOOOO!

Nutcracker Ball.....ballet friends.....only Emma and I went.....trying to reduce the crazy factor just a bit..........
We celebrated Thanksgiving with Gretchen and Bobby and their family. It was a fun, fabulous time! The kids always have fun with their cousins. And, I love having my sister here! We even managed to drag Bobby out for an all-nighter of shopping the Black Friday sales! Oh, what fun.....

Freeze Modeling at Westgate Mall......so much fun! People were amazed at the beauty of the costumes and the magnificent models! LOVED IT!

AND......our first snow! Nov. 30th! Sooooooo fun!

So, in the next 2 weeks, please pray for me when you think of me. I will need it! If you are in our area, we'd love for you to come and see. Shows are Friday, Dec. 13th thru Sunday, Dec. 15th. Let me know if you do get to come so we can meet you in the hallway and get some illeagal pictures with the girls in costume! And, yes, I have resorted to being a rule-breaker! That's where all of the fun comes.....and as a Nutcracker mom....you NEED to have some fun!

Happy 15th Emma Kate!

I woke up this morning in a pondering state.......wondering HOW I could have a 15 year old daughter. It really just seems like a few short years ago, we were told there may not be any "Green" children. And, if so, there would probably only be one. We prayed and prayed and learned what a "fervant" prayer was. God reassured His faithfulness to us when we found out we were having a baby. A baby girl! How could I be so blessed as this?! Emma has been a shining light in our worlds since the day she was born. Yes, there were MANY evenings that I wondered how I would make it through.....and, yet, Got proved Himself over and over!

Today, at 15, she amazes us with her grace....not only physical.....but, her whole graceful self! Her beauty shines from within. Her joy is contagious! Her sweet spirit goes before her. She's my daughter. My coffee buddy. My singing partner. My movie-goer. My biggest fashion critic. And, my friend. I'm so glad she's mine!

I'm a Little Indian.....on the go!

We got to enjoy our first Thanksgiving Feast and program with Seth at his preschool! It was so cute! And he was the cutest little Indian boy.....I'm so thankful he is mine! There is just something about him that makes us beam!
Notice the fire alarm on the wall.....inside a tidy, LOCKED, plastic box! That is where they should be, ESP. with "Seths" around! :)

This is his friend, Sydney. I think she is staking her claim on him early! :)

We all have so much to be thankful for........Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy 12th Birthday, Hanna Grace!

I am praising God today for the beautiful gift I received 12 years ago today! She is still the ball of sunshine she was when she came into this world! I am so glad she is mine! Happy Birthday, beautiful girl!

Halloween......and the festivities that surround!

I love Halloween! It is such a fun time for our family! We love to carve the fabulous pumpkins we all meticulously picked.

Lily, loving the goo..........

Sethy enjoyed his first Fall Festival at preschool. It was cowboy day......

My cute cowboy and his little Indian friend, Sydney Adee.....

Painting his sweet little pumpkin.....

.....and his first fishing pond.....I used to love this game at Parkey's Fun Night!

The kids love to dress up....and, this year, I was told to, also. About a week before Halloween, when asked what she was gonna be for Halloween, Lily would say, "A spooky black cat......and my mom is my witch!" I didn't want to spoil the fun, so, a witch, I was. A good witch.
(and there are no clear pictures of me as a good witch! That's what you get when the photographer is IN the picture! Oh, well! You get the idea!)Seth and Lily practicing!
Seth chose to be a KState football player and Emma was a fairy. Her and her freshman friends had a pumpkin carving party and then joined us for soup and then trick or treating. Then we all came back to our house for more treats and a scary movie night-slumber party. The scary movies didn't last long.....as they ended up watching "The Proposal"! That's my girl! We had a fun night!
